IHBT-Library: Knowledge Resource Centre provides lots of services to the users as well as scientists. To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money and that is sincerity and integrity.
Reference Service is an important service offered by the library. It helps users to make full use of the resources available in the library. It provides guidance in the use of library resources and services, assists in accessing e-journals, e-books, databases, multimedia sources etc and conducts library orientation programmes for new users
It also maintains a collection of reference books consisting of encyclopaedias, directories, handbooks, bibliographies etc.
Users may approach the reference and membership desk for information or any assistance in the use of the Library Collections and Services. For special information requirements, users may also reach the staff of the library.
Reference books are issued to a scientist for one day only.
Only Registered users can borrow books from IHBT Library counter.
Return the borrowed material within the due date.
Marking, Writing and Highlighting on the book are prohibited.
The borrower is obliged to compensate lost or damaged Materials. To know the rules for replacement of lost or damaged book kindly contact the library staff.
Check the Missing Pages, Paragraphs or spoiled books before leaving the circulation desk.
Library arranges to get photocopies of papers from journals, conference proceedings and sources that are not held in its collection from different sources. There is no separate charge for providing the service to the library members. This service is provided for academic and research purpose to the scientists, research scholars, students and staff, who are members of the library. Members are requested to send a formal request to the library with complete bibliographic details of documents required.
The IHBT Library offers photocopying service to all its members, walk-in users and others.
Only single copy of journal articles and book chapters are provided for private study and research purpose.
The service is free to all the users of IHBT.
Computers are placed in Computer Room of the Library for accessing the resources for academic and research work.
Using computers for emailing, submitting assignments and accessing for non-academic purposes is not allowed.
Users must not tamper with the Library computers, other equipment, its systems, programs or other stored information.
